Notice of 30-day Public Comment Period - Farmland Preservation Plan Update

The Richland County Land Conservation & Zoning Department and the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission invite the public to submit comments on the 2026 update of the Richland County Farmland Preservation Plan.

The purpose of Farmland Preservation Planning is to help farmers and local governments preserve farmland, protect soil and water, and minimize land use conflicts. This plan is reviewed and updated every 10 years.

Public Comment Period:
This comment period will remain open for 30 days from the date of this notice.
